Family History
This is a scan of a diploma of merit presented to our ancestor Carmelo Hili, pertaining to a 1937 vintner's competition. The certificate is signed by Sir Harry Luke, the then Lieutenant Governor of the Crown Colony of Malta.

Below are some of the earliest photos of the Hili family and the original founders of the winery. The photo on the left shows a 1930s family portrait of the original founders of the winery, while the photo on the right shows Carmel Hili next to the prehistoric Sansuna Rock in Xagħra , belonging to the Bronze Age Period
